Loom size b. Article to be woven c. Shrinkage of material d. Throwing of the shuttle (Take in)<br \/>\n2. <b>How many threads are there going to be per inch (SETT\/EPI)<\/b><br \/>\na. For the article to be woven b. Number of dents in the reed (spacer)<br \/>\n3. <b>The length of the article to be woven:<\/b><br \/>\na. Article length. b. Loom allowance c. Loom Take Up (a 10% variable)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><b>Formula for Calculating Your Warp<\/b><\/center><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<pre>          SETT                     6 threads per inch(epi)\r\n        x Width of Article      x 21 inches wide\r\n        = Total Warp Ends         72 warp ends total required\r\n                                     for width of article to\r\n                                     be woven<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><b>Formula for Calculating Length of Warp<\/b><\/center><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b><b><br \/>\n1. <b>Length of Article to be Woven<\/b><br \/>\n+Add required amount of fringes (both sides)<br \/>\n+Loom allowance (18&#8243; for table loom\/36&#8243; for floor loom =Total Length per Warp Thread<\/b><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>2. <b>Formula for Calculating Warp<\/b><br \/>\nTotal Warp Width ends<br \/>\nx Total length per end<br \/>\n= Total warp<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><b>Formula for Weft Calculations<\/b><\/center><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b><b><br \/>\nwidth on loom in inches<br \/>\n+ 10% of that distance<br \/>\n=length of one weft shot<br \/>\nx number of wefts per inch<br \/>\n= inches of weft needed to weave 1&#8243;<br \/>\nx inches to be woven (incl fringe etc)<br \/>\n=total inches of weft needed<br \/>\n\/ by 36<br \/>\n=total yards of weft needed<\/b><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>POINTERS FOR MEASURING A WARP USING A WARPING BOARD<\/b><\/span><\/center><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b><b><br \/>\n<b><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Measuring the Warp:<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><br \/>\n1. Keep an even tension<br \/>\n2. Take care in making the cross<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Counting:<\/b><br \/>\n1. Use a contrasting color for groupings.<br \/>\n2. Group according to SETT<\/p>\n<p><b>Tying Off:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1. Tie through cross<br \/>\n2. Tie top of each side of cross<br \/>\n3. Tie chokes at end of the warp and at every yard.<\/p>\n<p><b>Chaining Off:<br \/>\n<\/b> 1. Cut off end loops.<br \/>\n2. Use your hand as a crochet hook chain off up to the cross.<br \/>\n3.
